The biggest thing is to be accepting of who you are. But it doesn’t hurt to try and have some goals to reach for, either.
A big thing about clothing (like jeans) is confidence. Have you ever heard of the phrase, “Look good, feel good?”

It’s also a really good way to stay accountable… because it forces you to remember what you’ve already eaten that day. I always found that just the thought of knowing that what I eaten that day was going to be written down… served as a push for me to eat healthier and stay on track.
3) Don’t snack in the evenings.

This is a really bad habit for me, especially if I eat dinner pretty early. I won’t even be hungry… but I’ll find myself craving that ice cream or popcorn as I’m settled in for an evening of Netflix.
Don’t do it! Go back to rule number one: drink some water.
Another thing that has helped me is chewing gum. I’ve found that it’s basically a distraction for when I’m bored but not actually hungry… and it’s helped me cut down on snacking a lot. (Just don’t, of course, fall asleep while chewing gum. Yikes!)
4) Get moving.
This is great for the body and the mind. While my focus is usually more on food-based items to help with weight loss… I’m always a fan of throwing in some exercise.
Not only is this good for weight loss… but it can be really good for you mentally to just get out of the house and sweat a little. Even if you start by doing a 30-minute walk every day, you’ll begin to see and feel a difference.
5) Cook at home more.
Doesn’t this defeat the purpose of wearing jeans?! Well, maybe.
But it can be great for weight loss! Cooking at home allows you to know exactly what is going into every meal.It also allows you greater portion control.

Oftentimes, I’ve found that the smaller portion is enough… and I never would have guessed this because I’ll certainly eat the bigger portion if it’s put in front of me… without even thinking twice!
So, now you have a bunch of ways to shed a few pounds fairly quickly and look amazing in your jeans. Of course, weight loss is a process… and you should never make any drastic changes or go to an extreme when trying to build up a healthier lifestyle.
