Add This Teriyaki Chicken To Your Weight Loss Meal Plan
Painful, Achy Joints? THIS Will Help Melt the Pain Away (No Pills!
If I asked you to list some quintessential healthy meals, what would you say?
Yogurt with berries?
Scrambled egg whites?
Chicken breast with steamed vegetables?
While all of these recipes can be delicious… they can get pretty boring if you don’t add some variety to your recipe routine.
And for me, the one that seems to get boring the fastest is chicken breast with veggies.Sleep Like a Baby: Using This Blend of Exotic Herbs and Spices
That’s because… if you don’t add in some extra flavor and spices… chicken breast can honestly be pretty bland.
So eating a bland, flavorless chicken breast night after night… even in the name of “healthiness”… gets really old, really fast.
And when I get bored with what I’m eating, I’m more likely to get derailed and choose something less healthy… that I’ll probably feel guilty about later… just for the sake of getting some variety.
That’s why I LOVE this teriyaki chicken recipe.
You get to keep the same base of chicken breast with veggies. After all, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
So you still get all of those health benefits… but with WAY more flavor than a bland, unseasoned chicken breast.
And with that extra flavor, you’re probably going to be craving this recipe at least once a week!
The teriyaki sauce brings a slightly sweet, slightly tangy, totally delicious taste to this chicken and veggie recipe…
(If you’ve had teriyaki anything before, you know what I’m talking about! For me, teriyaki sauce is almost addicting.
In fact, I served this recipe twice in one week the first time I made it… because my family loved it that much!)Your Body Can Repair Itself… Click Here to See How
Plus, you get the flexibility of being able to use whatever vegetables you have on hand… or the ones you and your family like.
So if you accidentally bought too much broccoli… toss it in!
Your family hates bell peppers? Don’t add them!
You LOVE sugar-snap peas? Be my guest.
That’s the beauty of this recipe: it’s flexible, delicious, really easy, and comes together quickly.
So if a weeknight sneaks up on you and you realize you don’t have anything ready for dinner…
(I’m not the only one that happens to, right?)
Then this recipe is perfect! A tasty, healthy, and filling dinner can be on the table within 20 minutes.
Here’s how it’s done:

How To Choose A Healthier Teriyaki Sauce For This Recipe
As we’ve already established, chicken breast and vegetables are really good for you… and they can be a great part of a balanced, healthy diet.
So, you don’t want to take that lean protein and slather it with buckets of sugar and added chemicals, do you?
Of course not! That’s why I personally don’t use store-bought teriyaki sauce for this recipe.
(If you DO find a teriyaki sauce at the store that’s good for you, great! But most of them contain a lot of added sugar, high fructose corn syrup, lots of salt, preservatives, artificial flavorings, artificial coloring, etc.
And while that might taste pretty good… it isn’t worth the effects on your health.)
Instead, I use this homemade teriyaki sauce recipe that’s better for you.
I’m not saying it’s slimming enough that you should drink it… but it’s way better for you than the typical store-bought teriyaki sauce. Plus, it’s really easy to make!
Here are all of the ingredients you’ll need:
- Pineapple juice
- Reduced-sodium soy sauce
- Honey (or brown sugar)
- Rice wine vinegar
- Fresh ginger
Just follow the link above to get the details on how to make it. 🙂 It’s perfectly seasoned and spiced for delicious flavor!
Of course, you can also feel free to adjust the recipe if you find a balance that works better for you and your family. That’s one perk of making your own sauces and recipes!
How This Easy & Delicious Recipe Can Help You Avoid Cravings
One of the reasons this recipe is perfect for staying healthy is that it’s high in protein.
That chicken breast (that gets deliciously dressed with savory teriyaki sauce) is PACKED with protein. Just one cup of chicken breast has 43 grams of protein!
Protein is essential for a lot of things… including building and repairing muscle and tissue in your body.
It also helps you stay feeling fuller for longer—which is why so many healthy recipes & meal plans focus on making sure you eat enough protein.
But that’s not why we’re so excited about it.
The best news of all is that eating more protein can actually help you burn more calories!
It’s been proven in a scientific study: those who increase their protein intake burn MORE calories every day.
